Spike Hellis is a Los Angeles electronic duo founded in 2019 by Cortland Gibson and Elaine "Lainey" Chang. Their old-school EBM and industrial sound blends techno, electro and dark experimental pop with bleak, sarcastic lyrics. Self-titled debut (2022) on their Over-Pop imprint preceded sophomore album "Successor" (2026). Live shows are confrontational, hard-dance sets built for clubs and industrial festivals.
