Sparta

Sparta is an American post-hardcore band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 2001 by Jim Ward and other former members of At the Drive-In. The music is guitar-driven and emotionally charged, drawing on art punk and alternative rock. "Wiretap Scars" (2002) was followed by "Porcelain" (2004) and "Threes" (2006), then a long gap before "Trust the River" (2020), a self-titled album in 2022 and "Cut a Silhouette" (2026).
