Smerz is a Norwegian electronic duo of Henriette Motzfeldt and Catharina Stoltenberg, based between Oslo and Copenhagen. Their sound blends experimental pop, electronic minimalism, and club music through intimate vocals, sparse beats, and girly existentialism. Albums include "Believer" (2021) on XL Recordings and "Big City Life" (2025). Live sets pair spare piano, strings, drums, and voices into subtle, unpredictable, atmospheric performances.
