Search Party is a Detroit trio of DJ/producer Max Watts, trumpeter Allen Dennard, and saxophonist Kasan Belgrave. Their sound bridges machine music, turntablism, and instrumental improvisation, rooted in techno and hi-tech jazz. They blur jazz and techno through deep grooves and layered electronic production. Live sets emphasize improvisational energy and an immersive, elegant atmosphere.
