Saves the Day is an American rock band from Princeton, New Jersey, formed in 1997 and led by singer-guitarist Chris Conley. Their sound spans emo, pop-punk and melodic hardcore with introspective lyrics. They broke out with "Stay What You Are" (2001), whose singles "At Your Funeral" and "Freakish" reached MTV2, and later released "9" in 2018. Live sets mix driving full-band rock with stripped-down acoustic Bug Sessions tours.
