Pretty Lights

dance/electronicclub dance

Pretty Lights is the electronic project of American producer Derek Vincent Smith, from Fort Collins, Colorado. He calls the sound electro hip hop soul: glitchy beats, buzzing synths and vintage funk and soul samples. "A Color Map of the Sun" (2013) earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album. The live show pairs a full band with LED towers built to look like cityscapes.
