Patrick Higgins

Patrick Higgins is an American composer and guitarist from New York City, in Zs and the duo AEAEA with Nicolás Jaar. His work bridges avant-garde guitar, contemporary classical writing, and electro-acoustic textures from live resampling. Zs has been hailed by The New York Times as one of the strongest avant-garde bands in New York. In AEAEA he and Jaar resample each other's instruments live, between composed melody and spontaneous texture.
