Pasquale Grasso
jazz
Pasquale Grasso is an Italian-born jazz guitarist from Campania, now in New York, with a pianistic bebop approach on guitar. His lines translate Bud Powell and Charlie Parker through classical technique voicing chords and melody together. Pat Metheny has hailed him as among the greatest guitarists he has heard; he won the 2015 Wes Montgomery competition. Live sets pair bebop standards with big-band charts by his brother Luigi.
