Of Monsters and Men are an Icelandic indie folk rock band from Garðabær, formed in 2010 around singers Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson. Their folk pop builds on dual vocals and indie folk arrangements. They won Iceland's Músíktilraunir in 2010, and 2011 debut "My Head Is an Animal", led by "Little Talks", went double platinum in the U.S. Live sets blend acoustic warmth with crowd singalongs.
