Octave Cat

Octave Cat is a Philadelphia instrumental trio of Eli Winderman (Dopapod) on keyboards, Jesse Miller (Lotus) on bass and modular synths, and Charlie Patierno on drums. Their sets move from stripped-down jazz grooves to analog synth dance music rooted in late-1970s synth-jazz-funk, house, and trip-hop. Self-titled debut (2017) and live album "Live From the Simulation, Vol. 2" (2026) mix improvisation with originals. Shows draw on jam-scene pedigree for exploratory peaks and electronic textures built for dance floors.
