NØ MAN

NØ MAN is a Washington, D.C. hardcore quartet led by vocalist Maha Shami, daughter of Palestinian refugees. They channel sumud, or steadfastness, pairing devastating riffs with lyrics of survival and refusal of erasure. Albums including "Erase" and "Glitter and Spit" sharpened a blistering sound of pummeling heaviness and rarely slowing speed. Live sets center on cathartic vocals woven through unrelenting instrumentation.
