Nicky Romero is a Dutch DJ, record producer and remixer, born Nick Rotteveel in Amerongen in 1989. His track "Toulouse" (2012) became his breakthrough, and "I Could Be the One" with Avicii debuted at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 2013. He founded the label Protocol Recordings in 2012, reached No. 7 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll in 2013, and has worked with Tiësto, David Guetta and Calvin Harris.
