MUNA
pop
MUNA is an American indie pop trio from Los Angeles made up of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin and Naomi McPherson. Their synth-driven pop pairs bright hooks with lyrics about sexuality and gender identity from three openly queer members. After "About U" (2017) they signed to Phoebe Bridgers' Saddest Factory Records, and the self-titled "MUNA" (2022) carried the breakthrough single "Silk Chiffon".
