MR. WASHINGTON

Mr. Washington is a San Francisco DJ and resident of Funkytown SF, the monthly dance party at Cat Club on Folsom Street. Sets split the room between 1970s disco and funk in the back and 1980s pop and new wave in the front. He spins alongside fellow Funkytown residents Porter and Tree-Fitty, drawing on era-defining hits from Donna Summer to Prince. Nights are built around crowd-pleasing grooves for the club's two-room format.
