Montgomery Gentry
country
Montgomery Gentry is an American country duo founded in Kentucky by Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry in 1999. Their music blends traditional country with Southern rock grit and working-class storytelling. Albums "Tattoos & Scars" (1999) and "My Town" (2002) yielded five number-one country singles, and they were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009. Eddie Montgomery continues performing under the name after Gentry's death in 2017.
