modrums

modrums is a New York DJ and live performer who draws on African and Caribbean dance rhythms. With Reaganomics he co-hosts Love Save Life, a vinyl-forward party spanning soca, dancehall, konpa and Afro-house. He performs live as Studio Simpa with Yawuza Alhassan, tied to digital dance music from Dagbon, Northern Ghana. Sets move between club nights and immersive spiritual-boogie gatherings.
