MICO is the stage name of Jose Miguel Veloso, a Filipino-Canadian singer and songwriter from Toronto. He makes alt pop rock that blends the hook-heavy nostalgia of 2000s pop punk with hyperpop and alternative touches. After building an audience through Discord and Twitch, he broke through with the 2022 single "cut my hair" and released his debut album "When the lights turn on" in 2026.
