Madball is an American hardcore punk band from New York City. Fronted by Freddy Cricien, their music pairs metal-influenced grooves and breakdowns with street-level lyrics. Formed in 1988 as a side project of Agnostic Front, they released the landmark album "Set It Off" in 1994. Their shows are known for ferocious, pit-heavy performances that helped define beatdown hardcore.
