Leaving Laurel

Leaving Laurel is an electronic music project begun in 2019 by American producer Pierce Fulton and Canadian producer Gordon Huntley, named after Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles. Their songs are introspective, melodic electronic pieces shaped by cassette-tape experiments and warm analog textures. The self-titled debut album arrived in 2021, followed by "when the quiet comes" in 2023 after Fulton died. Live sets blend downtempo electronics with guest collaborators carrying on the duo's sound.
