Kindred the Family Soul are a Philadelphia neo soul duo of married songwriters Fatin Dantzler and Aja Graydon. Their music blends R&B, funk, and spoken word around love, family, community, and Black culture. Discovered at the Black Lily showcase, they signed to Hidden Beach and released "Surrender to Love" in 2003. Live sets are warm and feel-good, rooted in connection and real-life experience.
