Kendl Winter

Kendl Winter is an Arkansas-born songwriter and banjoist based in Olympia, Washington. She blends country, bluegrass, and lo-fi indie folk through clawhammer banjo textures on solo work and in the Americana duo The Lowest Pair with Palmer T. Lee. Solo albums include "It Can Be Done!" on K Records and the 2024 instrumental set "Banjo Mantras" on Delicata Records. Live performances foreground improvisational banjo meditations and the hypnotic repetition that shapes her instrumental compositions.
