Julianna Barwick is an American ambient and electronic musician born in Louisiana. She builds her music from looped, layered vocals and synthesizers, an approach rooted in singing in church choir as a child. Her albums include "The Magic Place" (2011), "Nepenthe" (2013), "Will" (2016) and "Healing Is a Miracle" (2020), and in 2010 Radiohead commissioned her to remix "Reckoner".
