John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band
rock
John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band is an American rock band from Narragansett, Rhode Island, formed in 1972. Their sound is rooted in heartland rock and bar-band R&B, with sax-driven hooks and blue-collar storytelling. The "Eddie and the Cruisers" soundtrack (1983) reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200, led by the hit "On the Dark Side." Live shows carry the high-energy Northeast roadhouse spirit that built their regional following.
