Maria Brink and Chris Howorth formed In This Moment, an American rock band from Los Angeles, in 2005. Their music fuses hard rock and metal with gothic and industrial edges, driven by Brink's sung and screamed vocals. "Blood" (2012) reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200; their highest-charting LP "Black Widow" (2014) peaked at No. 8. Live shows are known for theatrical costumes, dark stage imagery and dramatic vocal performances.
