rockalternative rock

Hit the Lights is a pop punk band formed in Lima, Ohio, in 2003. Their sound blends high-energy punk rock with emo-tinged arrangements and hardcore-inspired breakdowns. The debut album "This Is a Stick Up... Don't Make It a Murder" (2006) came out on Triple Crown Records, and "Summer Bones" (2015) on Pure Noise. Guitarist Nick Thompson took over as lead singer in 2007.
