Half Gringa

Half Gringa is the project of Chicago singer-songwriter Isabel Olive, raised by a Venezuelan mother and an American father in a Midwestern town. Her twangy indie songs deal with grief and getting stuck in one's own thoughts, often switching between English and Spanish lines. Her albums include "Gruñona", "Force to Reckon" and "Cosmovisión", the last recorded with producer Brian Deck.
