glaive is an American singer-songwriter born Ash Gutierrez, from Hendersonville, North Carolina, who broke out posting hyperpop tracks on SoundCloud during the pandemic. His music blends hyperpop, digicore and pop-punk with lyrics about alienation and mental health. After signing to Interscope he released Cypress Grove (2020) and albums including I Care So Much That I Don't Care at All (2023). Club shows deliver fast, high-energy sets from a catalog spanning bedroom recordings to arena-ready pop.
