G. Love is the stage name of Garrett Dutton, a singer and guitarist from Philadelphia best known as frontman of G. Love & Special Sauce. His music pairs classic blues instrumentation with hip-hop beats and a street rap delivery. Jack Johnson guested on the 1999 album "Philadelphonic," and Dutton has since toured with Johnson and released records on Johnson's label Brushfire Records.
