Footballhead is an alternative rock band from Chicago fronted by singer and songwriter Ryan Nolen. The band blends pop structures with alt-rock and emo influences, describing its sound as "frantic, dramatic, and anthemic" and its songs as a way to work through internal and external insecurity. Its debut album "Overthinking Everything" was released in 2024, followed by the album "Weight of the Truth".
