Empire of the Sun are an Australian electronic duo formed in 2007 by Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore. Their sound blends electropop and synth-pop with dance-rock textures. The debut album "Walking on a Dream" (2008) brought international success, followed by "Ice on the Dune" (2013) and "Ask That God" (2024). Live shows are known for flamboyant costumes and elaborate stage sets.
