DJ Harvey

DJ Harvey is English selector Harvey William Bassett, an early UK exponent of American disco, garage, and house. His mixes join disco, house, garage, and rock with swaggering, sleazy rock-and-roll energy. Since 1991 he has run marathon sets at London's Moist, held a bi-monthly residency at Santos in New York, and recorded as Map of Africa. Live bookings favor extended main-room journeys through decades of dance and rock records.
