DJ Anjali is a Portland DJ who, with The Incredible Kid, pairs South Asian and Latin club music across the Pacific Northwest. Their TROPITAAL! residency at Goodfoot pits bhangra, Bollywood, reggaeton, dembow and desi bass in a Desi-Latine soundclash. The duo formed in 2000; she has staged Holi festivals locally since 2002 with organic plant-based powder. Nights blend DJ sets with her Gulabi Gang troupe and Bollywood and bhangra dancers.
