Deer Tick

Deer Tick is an American rock band formed in Providence, Rhode Island, in 2004 by singer and guitarist John McCauley. Their sound joins folk and rock with blues and country, though the band says it is proud not to sing with a twang. Albums include "War Elephant" (2007), "Divine Providence" (2011) and "Emotional Contracts" (2023). Live shows are known for their rawness and for covers ranging from Nirvana to John Prine.
