Covet
rock
Covet are an instrumental math rock band from California, built around guitarist and composer Yvette Young. Young writes in open tunings using two-handed tapping, with layered delay and reverb giving the melodies a bright, textural finish. The project grew out of her solo recordings and the "Currents" EP (2015) into a band, releasing "Effloresce" (2018), "Technicolor" (2020) and "Catharsis" (2023).
