Chromeo is a Canadian electro-funk duo from Montreal, formed in 2002 by David "Dave 1" Macklovitch and Patrick "P-Thugg" Gemayel. Their sound fuses 1980s funk, soul, disco, and synth-pop, built around guitar, synths, and vocoder. Albums such as "Head over Heels" (2018), Grammy nominated for Best Engineered Album, and "Adult Contemporary" (2024) anchor a six LP catalog. Live sets range from full band funk shows to billed DJ performances driven by the same dance floor energy.
