Chevelle is an American rock band from Grayslake, Illinois, formed in 1995 by brothers Pete Loeffler and Sam Loeffler. Their sound blends hard rock, alternative metal and post-grunge around Pete Loeffler's melodic vocals and heavy guitar riffs. Wonder What's Next (2002) went platinum on the strength of Send the Pain Below, and the tenth album Bright as Blasphemy followed in 2025. Concert sets draw on three decades of material suited to arenas and amphitheaters.
