Candlebox is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1990. Their sound blends grunge, hard rock and post-grunge, rooted in bluesy classic rock rather than punk. The self-titled debut (1993) went quadruple platinum, with "Far Behind" reaching the Billboard Hot 100 top 20. Live, they played Woodstock '94 and toured with Metallica and Rush at the height of their early success.
