Caifanes

Caifanes is a Mexican alternative rock band formed in Mexico City in 1986. Their sound fuses post-punk, gothic rock, and new wave with Latin and Mexican musical traditions. Albums such as "Caifanes" (1988), "El Silencio" (1992), and "El nervio del volcán" (1994) made them commercial stars before they reunited in 2011. Led by Saúl Hernández and Alfonso André, they remain a leading force in Latin American rock.
