Bright Eyes is an American indie folk band founded by Conor Oberst in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1995. The songs are wordy and confessional, set against arrangements from acoustic folk to electronic textures. The band released two albums on the same day in 2005, the country-leaning "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" and the electronic "Digital Ash in a Digital Urn". "Cassadaga" (2007) was their biggest commercial success.
