bloodsugar

Bloodsugar is an alt-rock band from Chico, California, fronted by singer Lys Lourdes. The name, deliberately spelled as one word, comes from Lourdes' own easily dropping blood sugar levels, which the band uses as a metaphor for songs that swing between emotional extremes. Their sound leans on distortion and cathartic, vulnerable songwriting.
