Big Special is an English duo from the Black Country, formed in 2022 by vocalist Joe Hicklin and drummer Callum Moloney. Their music blends punk, soul and spoken word, with lyrics about working-class life in the post-industrial Midlands and struggles with depression. They released the albums "Postindustrial Hometown Blues" (2024) and "National Average" (2025), and appeared on Sleaford Mods' "The Good Life".
