Beth Orton is an English singer-songwriter from Norfolk, known since the mid-1990s for folktronica, blending folk and electronica. Her songs pair acoustic guitar with electronic beats and introspective lyrics. "Trailer Park" (1996) and BRIT Award-winning "Central Reservation" (1999) made her name; "Daybreaker" (2002) reached the UK top 10. Shows span solo acoustic sets to full-band folk and electronic arrangements.
