Amigo The Devil

Amigo the Devil is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Danny Kiranos, a Texas-based guitarist and banjo player working in modern folk and alternative rock. His songs pair alarming honesty with dark, witty narratives in a style often called murderfolk, influenced by Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, and Chavela Vargas. Albums include "Everything Is Fine" (2018), "Born Against" (2021), and "Yours Until the War Is Over" (2024). Live, he is known for energetic, theatrical performances built on spare guitar or banjo and gripping storytelling.
