Altın Gün is a Dutch-Turkish psychedelic band formed in Amsterdam in 2016 by bassist Jasper Verhulst. They rework Anatolian folk songs with wah-wah guitar, analogue organs and funk rhythms, later adding synthesizers and drum machines. Their album "Gece" (2019) was nominated for a Grammy for Best World Music Album, and "Garip" (2026) collects songs by Turkish folk bard Neşet Ertaş.
