AEAEA is an experimental duo of New York guitarist Patrick Higgins and electronic musician Nicolas Jaar. They resample each other's instruments live, blending composed melody with improvised electro-acoustic texture. The project premiered at Le Guess Who? in 2019 under Higgins's festival curation. Shows fold in guests such as cellists in ritual-like environments named for Circe's island.
