Acumen Nation is an American industrial rock band from Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1988 by brothers Jason and Ethan Novak. Their sound fuses heavy metal guitars with pulsating electronic beats, techno, and coldwave influences. Renamed Acumen Nation in 1997, they released "Territory Means the Universe" and "Strike 4" (2000). Live shows pair dense guitar-driven electronics with self-produced film clips for immersive audio-visual sets.
